The volcanic origins of São Miguel’s coastline hide areas that few ever get to see. This intense adventure means scrambling and traversing the tide line. You will be swimming along an amazing sea bottom, with very rich fauna and flora, and climbing black volcanic rocks to cliff jumping into the salty water!
Suitable for everyone with a normal health/medical and physical condition (pregnancy is not accepted and only children aged 6+). Swimming ability recommended but not required.
Minimum age: 6 years old.
Includes: high-quality safety equipment, licenses, insurance, qualified guides, photos and videos!
Safety Equipment: neoprene wetsuit and shoes, helmet, personal floatation device (PFD) and group safety equipment (the equipment is disinfected daily).
Additional information: tours will depend on water levels and weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. Height: min. 1,20 m (3 ft 11 in); max. 2 m (6 ft 7 in). Weight: min. 20 Kg (44 lb); max. 120 Kg (265 lb). Maximum waist circumference (harness): 1,40 m (55 in).
You need to bring: Swimsuit on and towel. You can bring a lycra shirt (rash vest) to use as a first layer, medication (if required), hairband, snack and water.
